Our energy flows where our mindset goes...
This was something I was discussing recently.
A good friend of mine posted that energy flows where mindset goes and then she asked if we were stressing or blessing…?
This made so much sense to me.
The way I see it, if you are always stressed and in a bad mood, the energy around you shifts and things start to go wrong - continuously.
It’s like when you wake up late, and then you stub your toe, and then your shampoo runs out, then you hit traffic, then you get a flat tire and you haven't even had your morning coffee yet!
The same thing goes for when you choose to be grateful and count your blessings.
Even though you woke up late, you can let your first appointment know, thanks to technology.
Even though you stubbed your toe and it hurt like a bitch, you didn’t break it and the pain went away.
Yes, the shampoo ran out but you can swing by the store on the way home and buy a new bottle because you have the money to do so - Plus, messy buns are in, thank goodness!
Traffic sucks, but you already let your first appointment know you are running a little late so why not take this opportunity to catch up on some audio books?
Flat tire, geez. But you’re glad you have a car and don’t have to catch public transport.
When you shift from stressing to blessing, the energy around you changes. Even just re-writing the bad start to the morning and including what I could be grateful for made me felt better.
I always try to come from a place of gratitude, no matter what the situation.
When I feel like I’m starting to stress, I stop and journal and make a list of everything I am thankful for.
When I do this, it helps me to create an immediate mindset shift.
The tension in my chest settles and and I find myself going back to feeling amazing and super thankful for all I have.
And usually, once I have a clear head, I can come up with a solution to fix the thing that had me stressing in the first place.
Stressing is something that shows up a lot in business, but it doesn’t have too!
Every day I get to wake up and do something big in my business and help so many other businesses.
No matter how stressful things can get, I will always find a blessing in having my business.
I love what I do and I know you do too.
Do you do more stressing or blessing?
